Day 1

Arrival

Welcome to the beautiful city of Chandigarh! Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & proceed to Shimla by road. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. This city was the former summer capital of the British. It is one of the top tourist destinations in India owing to its mild climate, meandering streets and snow- clad mountains. Often referred to as the 'Queen of Hill Stations’. Besides, its natural beauty what attracts hordes of tourists to this place is the opportunity to indulge in various adventure activities, such as trekking, mountaineering and skiing. Once you reach Shimla.

Day 2

Shimla

Today, after breakfast, proceed to Kufri. Kufri derives its name from ' Kufr' which means lake. Itis prevalent among trekkers. There after visit the famous mall road of Shimla. Visit the Scandal Point, Jhakoo Temple (private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location). The guests can take a shared taxi (at own cost) available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It's advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road. After shopping return back to the hotel.

Day 3

Shimla - Manali

After breakfast, checkout and proceed to Manali, one of the most popular hill stations of India. Enroute we drive past the Beas Sutley Link Project, Pandoh Dam and Scenic Kully Valley. Also visit the Kullu Shawlfactory. Upon arriving, Check- in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Manali is dotted with a number of attractions.

Day 4

Manali

After breakfast drive through the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – world’s longesttunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet. Enroute view the Sissu Waterfall. Later, proceed to Solang Valley, where the guest can enjoy adventure activities (at own cost) like Zorbing, Paragliding. Later you can also visit Tibetan Monastery- not only a place of worship but also a Tibetan culture centre, the natural springs and sand stone temples at Vashist Village. Visit to Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to Hidimba, wife of Bhim-one of the 5 Pandava brother of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and the Manu Temple- and old temple dedicated to sage Manu. In the evening, return to the hotel or free time at mall road.

Day 5

MANALI – ROHTANG PASS (ON YOUR OWN)

After early breakfast enjoy a breath taking drive to Snow Point on the road to Rohtang Pass (subject tooperation). Known for its scenic beauty Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance for India. The name Rohtang means ‘ground of corpses’ due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it. The twin peaks of Geypan are also visible from Rohtang. Return to hotel by the evening.

Day 6

MANALI - CHANDIGARH

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the first planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. Enroute visit Manikaran. On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Departure
